Sheshadri has taught the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of Prof. T. Krishnamacharya for the past ten years. He is a former student of BNS Iyengar of Parakala Mutt Mysore, and also deepened his yoga studies with Malavan at the International Vivekananda Agricultural University in Panthanagar, Uttar Pradesh, as well as in Rishikesh.
Sheshadri has dedicated his time to develop a prize-winning practice and has received medals in yoga tournaments at state, national and international levels.
As a teacher, he is firm, with an intense yet humorous approach. He regularly gives strong and dynamic adjustments that wake you as a student from any complacency in asana practice. S. Harish, Sheshadri's son, has been teaching along with his father for the past three years.
In addition to his yoga, Sheshadri farms his ancestral land by the Kapilla River near the town of Nanjangud, growing subsistence crops of rice and sugarcane.

Returning for the third time to study with Sheshadri, I continue to be humbled by his devotion to teaching yoga; surprised by the incredible effectiveness of his adjustments; and amazed at the inventiveness of his approach. It's a great joy to practice with and learn from Sheshadri, as he is a very generous, attentive and open-minded teacher.

There is no use... ...in introducing Sheshadri, because meanwhile he's become well-known to most of the ashtanga-moved people ...in recommending the support he's giving to his students, because his assists are recommending themselves ...in talking about his modest and open nature, because his eyes are telling about his loving and compassionate heart he's a real yogi and friend

Although I was only able to study with Sheshadri for two weeks, I was amazed by the progress we made. Having practiced yoga the previous year, intensive study and excellent individual attention was a valuable experience. I found Sheshadri to be a kind and warm person to work with and the adjustments were spot on. I hope to come back to study for longer when I can find time. Thanks.
